Say it Now- Unknown

If you have a friend worth loving,
Love him. Yes and let him know
That you love him, ere life's evening
Tinge his brow with sunset glow.
Why should good words ne'er be said
Of a friend- till he is dead?

If you hear a song that thrills you,
Sung by any child of song,
Praise it. Do not let the singer
Wait deserved praises long.
Why should one who thrills your heart
Lack the joy you may impart?

If you hear a prayer that moves you
By its humble, pleadingd tone
Join it. Do not let the seeker
Bow before his God alone.
Why should not your brother share
The strength of two or three in prayer?

If you see the hot tears falling
From a brother's weeping eyes
share them . And by kindly sharing
Own our kinship in th skies
Why should anyone be glad
When a brother's heart is sad?

If a silvery laugh goes rippling
Through the sunshine on his face,
Share it. 'Tis the wise man's saying-
For both grief and joy a place.
There's a health and goodness in the mirth
In which and honest laugh has birth.

If your work is made more easy
By a friendly, helping hand
Say so. Speak out brave and truly
Ere the darkness veil the land
Should a brother workman dear
Falter for a word of cheer?

Scatter thus your seeds of kindness
All enriching as you go-
Leave them . Trust the harvest giver
He will make each seed to grow.
So until the happy end
YOur life shall never lack a friend.

The one of many untitled books in a worlds chronicles

I open the door and a blanket of cold air rushes in. I wander outside, Autumn has settled in the valley like fog. The sun tries to shine and warm the earth, but the clouds cover it. I smell a tint of smoke in the air. I pull my cloak closer around me. Where shall I start?

The Fawns know, The Afhalzers know, even the little folk know. Something is happening. The mountains are being moved, they quake and tremble. Theres a sound in the night, a rumble.

I shiver and gaze upon the valley, stretching farther and farther to the coastline. Fields and houses, a kingdom, Asleep. Seemingly numb to the warning signs, as urgent as they are.

The smoke that's in the air is not made from the usual fires of every house, the fires in the fields where people gather to celebrate the harvest. No, as grim as it is, it is the truth. The Minotaurs are moving.

I slowly make my way up the mountains. From my dwelling, in the cleft of the mountain. I reach the top of a lofty peak and gaze towards the wilderness. My eyes strain, but can see no farther. In the distance a larger mountain then then the one peak I stand upon, Rises mightily and snow is upon upon its utmost highest peak.

To my fear I see smoke rising from the other side of the great mountain Richarub (pronounced Risharub).

I make my way back to my home.

Please comment to tell me what you think of it.

You also must understand this part of a world trilogy (is that the word I want?), that isn't polished up to make it very different from other books. But as time progresses I will fill in all the little questions that must be popping into your head after you read this.
Oh yeah if you do have any specific questions you can comment and I'll see if I know the answer, and if I don't I'll make one up :)
